I’m Todd Griffith, a long-time veteran of the Newspaper Publishing industry. My experience first took me from Desktop Publishing applications like QuarkXPress, Adobe PageMaker and finally to Adobe InDesign, in addition to Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. With my help, the Wise County Messenger has won several awards from various press associations (Texas Press Association, West Texas Press Association, North and East Texas Press Association and National Newspaper Association), including General Excellence, Page Layout and Advertising Design.

Along the journey, I began working with MacOS IT solutions, first with System 7 and up to and including the current version of MacOS, as well as Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS and Google Android. I have installed several servers and even wired computer networks for for the Wise County Messenger, which included up to 40 computers.

I began building websites in 1999, at first utilizing tools like Macromedia’s DreamWeaver before embarking on the path that CMS’ (Content Management Systems, like WordPress) offered. I’m skilled at working with Web Hosts in setting up Domain Names, MySQL Databases and email addresses, as well as the various protocols that are involved in this line of work. In 1999, I took a break from the newspaper industry (while still working part-time from home for the Wise County Messenger) to start my own business with a friend as Interprizm Web Services, where I provided Graphic Arts and Web Design services to clients. Concurrently, I was also employed by SofDesign International, where I also provided Graphic Arts and Web Design services, in addition to helping out with network installs for larger companies and installing WiFi networks for larger companies and apartment complexes, before returning to work full time at the Wise County Messenger.

Currently, I am employed at D.A. Lamont Public Adjusters, LLC, as well as their sister companies CORE Forensics and IECG, as Marketing Manager. In addition to maintaining current customer contacts, I am also in charge of generating new sales leads via e-mail marketing, maintaining and developing their websites utilizing WordPress, as well as studying to become an Xactimate Estimator.
